This year Wildflower Wellness is hosting a skateboarding event for families of children with visual impairment or blindness in the Kansas City, MO area who would like to know more about skateboarding and how accessible it can be.
The event will feature guest speaker Anthony Ferraro, a blind skateboarder with an inspirational story to share. Anthony will give a short presentation followed by a Q&A session for families and children. After that, parents and children can work one-on-one with volunteer Orientation & Mobility therapists alongside volunteer skateboarders from our community.
